Support for TFMR
Termination for medical reasons (TFMR) can bring an incredibly complex mix of emotions. Grief may exist alongside love, certainty alongside doubt, or relief alongside profound sadness. For many, the experience can also feel isolating, particularly when others do not fully understand the circumstances of the loss or the decisions involved.
TFMR can bring difficult questions and experiences to the surface: How do I make sense of what happened? How do I hold grief alongside the decision I made? How do I respond to people who don’t understand? How do my partner and I navigate this when we may be grieving differently? And how do I begin thinking about pregnancy, family-building, or the future when I’m ready?
The TFMR Support Circle offers a space where you can talk openly about your experience without having to explain or justify it. Each session combines psychoeducation, guided discussion, reflection, and peer support in a confidential and compassionate environment, with the goal of helping you feel less alone, more supported, and more connected as you navigate grief and what comes next.
