WHY JOIN?

Statistics show that the majority of women will become or work towards becoming pregnant in their lifetime. Whether you are a mental health professional looking to specialize in perinatal mental health or are practicing more generally, odds are that your clients will be impacted by the perinatal period at some point in your work with them. The perinatal period is transformative with the impact permeating across individuals and generations, making it relevant with most any client you come across. The complexity of the perinatal period makes it important to inform yourself as a mental health professional for the nuances that may arise as this becomes a part of a client's life.
